STORY BEHIND THE WINE
Founded in 1973 by the DeLoach Family of San Francisco, the estate underwent a significant transformation in 2003 when it was acquired by Burgundian winemaker Jean Claude Boisset. Recognising parallels between his homeland of Burgundy and the Russian River Valley, Boisset envisioned an opportunity to cultivate native Burgundian varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. To maximise wine quality, he implemented biodynamic farming practices across all 7 hectares surrounding the winery.
Additionally, Boisset successfully experimented with cultivating native Californian Zinfandel, further expanding the estate's repertoire!
