Barley Straw Extract starts working instantly and the concentrated formulation contains added enzymes to help break down sludge and clean filter pads, significantly reducing maintenance. Our Barley Straw Extract Professional Grade is safe for fish, plants, pets, and wildlife. The included measuring cup and dosage guide make application simple and easy. Each bottle contains 1 gallon of treatment and treats up to 96,000 gallons of water.

Dosing Instructions

Calculate Pond Size:Length (feet) x Width (feet) x Average Depth (feet) x 7.48 = US Gallons
How Often: For spring start-up or new ponds, treat twice weekly for two weeks, then once weekly.
How To:  Add to the area with the most circulation. We recommend heavily aerating for at least 24 hours after application. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Please Note:  Water temperature should be a minimum of 32°F (0°C). Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.
